One You Lincolnshire is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.
Non-accessible content
On the sign up form some questions use single letter keys as shortcuts to select answer options. Some users may trigger these by mistake. This fails WCAG 2.1.4 Character Key Shortcuts (A). We are doing the following to fix this issue by looking for alternatives to our sign-up form provider, Typeform.
At higher magnification some text content across the website will be cut off. This fails WCAG 1.4.10 Reflow (AA). We are doing the following to fix this issue by finding the text content and restructuring this section of the website.
On the Contact Us page, error messages shown if a user has not completed the form correctly disappear after a short time and are only visible for the first error on the page. If you receive an error when completing the form, double check all answers before resubmitting. This fails WCAG 3.3.1 Error Identification (A). We are doing the following to fix this issue by looking for alternative form software, like our sign-up form. We have contacted the supplier for advice.
Some latest articles include images of text which may be contextually relevant to the content of the articles. Some of these images do not contain appropriate alt text to ensure that content is available for all. This fails WCAG 1.1.1 Non-Text Content (A) and 1.4.5 Images of Text (AA). We are doing the following to fix this issue by ensuring our staff add alternative text when creating new content and to go through and add alternative text to past content.
Disproportionate burden
At this time, we have made no claims of disproportionate burden.
Content that's not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
At this time, we have not identified any content that is not within scope of the accessibility regulations.
What we're doing to improve accessibility
One You Lincolnshire is constantly reviewing our website for existing and new accessibility regulations. We are looking to develop a new sign-up and contact us form to ensure they meet regulations. We are also constantly training staff on the importance of adding non-text content and alternative text when adding new content.
