With so many of us now becoming sober curious there are more non-drinkers out there than ever before, but fear not, you can still enjoy the “bar scene” with many bars and restaurants providing non-alcoholic alternatives.
The Mocktail is growing in popularity and when placed side by side with its counterpart the Cocktail, you wouldn’t know the difference, until the next day that is! So, you can still feel included. There are even alternatives that have calming herbs in them to help you relax - All the social benefits without the next day nasties.
Don’t fancy heading to the bars just yet? You don’t need to be a bartender to be the best Mocktail maker in town. They’re easy to make and when loaded with all the right ingredients can have a range of health benefits too.

Virgin Cranberry Basil Sangria By Delish
Ingredients:
700ml Cranberry Juice
Juice from 1 Orange
340ml of Sparkling Water
1 Orange Sliced
1 Apple Cored and Sliced
40g of Frozen Cranberries
Handful of Basil
Ice
Method:
Mix together the Cranberry Juice, freshly squeezed orange juice and sparkling water. Add the frozen cranberries and sliced chunks of apple and orange. Top with basil and serve with ice.
Virgin Pina Colada – by Delish
Ingredients:
280g of Frozen Pineapple Chunks
4 Large scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
240ml of Coconut Milk
120ml of Pineapple Juice
Pineapple Chunk and Cherry for decoration
Method:
Using a blender, blend together the frozen pineapple, ice cream scoops, coconut milk and pineapple juice. Garnish with pineapple chunks and a cherry and serve.
Mock Champagne Punch – by love bakes good cakes
Ingredients:
1 litres of Ginger Beer
½ litre of Pineapple Juice
1 litre of Grape Juice
Method:
Mix together the Ginger Beer, Pineapple Juice and Grape Juice and garnish with raspberry’s
Citrus Peach Cooler – By Olivemagazine.com
Ingredients:
3 Lemons
3 Limes
Strawberries
Peach Juice
Cloudy Lemonade
Sparkling Water
Ice
Method:
Juice 2 lemons and 2 limes. Mix together in a large jug. Next slice the remaining lemon and lime and add to the mixture. Add 1/3 Peach Juice and 2/3 Cloudy Lemonade. Top up with Strawberries and Sparkling Water
