NCSCT Training
Join forces with us and become a Stop Smoking Subcontractor with One You Lincolnshire. You can complete your National Centre for Smoking Cessation & Training (NCSCT) course with us to deliver smoking cessation services in your local area for One You Lincolnshire.
What we offer
- Full training to become a certified NCSCT Level 2 Stop Smoking Practitioner (you don’t need to be a Healthcare Professional).
- Dedicated support from our One You Lincolnshire team.
- Resources including a carbon monoxide monitor to verify quit attempts.
- Full reimbursement on a quarterly basis for medication provided and a pay by outcome model.
BEING A SUBCONTRACTOR
- Deliver the 12-week Stop Smoking programme to patients, by phone or face-to-face.
- Carry out carbon monoxide readings.
- Hold bi-weekly 15 min appointments with patients.
- Offer behavioural support and medication to support a quit attempt (all costs reimbursed).
- Receive payment for successful quit outcomes.
Surgery benefits
Helps the surgery achieve QOF outcomes associated with smoking cessation
Paid by outcome model means your surgery could receive up to a maximum of £80 per patient that quits
Reimbursement of Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) or any prescribed Champix/Zyban on a quarterly basis
Direct contact with patients, removing the barrier of a patient not signing up to our service on referral (strike whilst the iron is hot!)
